Utterly romantic Regency bracelet. 
The centre piece of the  bracelet is an oval amethyst stone surrounded by elaborate gold cannetille work, the corners set with a further four amethyts laid ontop of a gold mesh strap, the clasp end decorated with more canetille work
Cannetille is a fine, spirally twisted thread of gold or silver that is used for embroidery, lace, and military braid. It is also a jewelry technique that involves coiling thin metal wires into three-dimensional design.
 
Presented in it's original red morocco box, lined with rich cream silk.
