Rare Early 19th Century Enamelled Snake Bracelet circa 1825

Eight snakes form this incredible bracelet, three either side of the central panel, as links, and two around the enamel portrait.
Totally pristine the green black and cream enamelled snakes coil in a firure of 8 to create the bracelet panels, their open mouthes set with a gold ball.
The central oval panel is finely enamelled with a portrait of a swiss lady, the back signed 'Lucerene' and the back hinged with a glass door which i guess would have held hair
Modelled in 18 carat gold
the central panel measures 40 x 32mm
total width with snakes 60mm around the plaque and 40mm as the band
The back is engraved with initials - JLH and SH - a lovers piece
