19th Century Italian Rams Head, Figa And Snake Set
 
It's getting close to Halloween and this set founf me just in time.
 
Italian, circa 1870, the set comprises earrings, with ramsheadsin agate, hands holding silver snakes, carved in wood, the wrists set with a tiny turquoise , and the hands dangling mini amulets, all to ward off the evil eye.
 
The pendant is set with a carved Rams head that holds a coiled silver snake who in turn holds a silver set coral branch.
 
Earrings 80mm long, weight - 14.5g the pair (gold shepherds hooks)
