This is a really beautiful ring!
Totally all original and in mint condition. 
The face of the ring is set with three clusters of really high topped old cut diamonds.
Three on the left, nine in the centre, and three on the right. Set in silver, foiled, and very sparkly they are laid onto the black enamel panel, which scallops is way around the diamonds.
The inside of the ring bears the inscription 'Ann Barff , Ob 27 May , 1800, aet 41'
This around a glass locket covering brunette hair.
 
The foliate shoulders are beautiful and elegant. They terminate with a shell motif which punctuates the back of the reeded shank.
