Whimsical early nineteenth century french miniature pendant with paste frame and swags, the miniature a scene of the goddess Venus/Aphrodite in a chariot being drawn by cherubs and birds. 
The back is lined with silk with the monogram ML embroidered in gold wire. 
Measures - 
The rectangle is 55 x 45mm
Total length about 93mm
Condition- the paste stones and miniature are in excellent condition.
The back would once have had glass but it is ok without it.
The silk has a slight stain top right, but overall not bad for 200 years old!
