Victorian Double Snake Pendant With Garnet Cab and Diamond Centre
 
Love this pendant! 
Two high carat gold  snakes with bulging diamond eyes coil around a large cabochon garnet, the centre set with an old cut diamond.
Their tails twist around rather like a double helix, and from the tip hangs another cabochon garnet, the bezel decorated with a rope twist frame.
I have hung the pendant from a 17" long, 15 carat gold victorian snake link chain with box clasp.
