What a beautiful piece of history!
Lady Delamere's (Henrietta Elizabeth’s) Bracelet for her Children and Husband
This is not a mourning bracelet, but a sentimental piece celebrating the love of children and family. It was commissioned by Baron Delamere for his wife in around 1810.
Henrietta was the daughter of Watkin Williams-Wynn and Charlotte Grenville, and the wife of Thomas the "1st Baron Delamere" Cholmondeley who was
Born 9 Aug 1767 - died 30 October 1855 aged 88.
He was a British peer and Member of Parliament

He was succeeded in the land, estates and title by his eldest son Hugh Cholmondeley.
He was the Son of Thomas Cholmondeley and Dorothy (Cowper) Cholmondeley
Brother of Hester (Cholmondeley) Drummond, Charles Cholmondeley and Dorothy (Cholmondeley) Parker

Hugh (3 October 1811 – 1 August 1887)[1] married Sarah Hay-Drummund, and later married Augusta Emily Seymour.

These children are represented on the reverse of the bracelet -
The First panel by an engraving of a crown and a 'D' to represent the Barons of Delamere
the second panel is engraved 'Hugh October 3rd 1811'
the third - 'Thomas born 10th Jan died 18th August 1811'
the fourth - 'Thomas Grenville August 4th 1818'
the fifth - 'Henry Pitt June 5th 1820'
the sixth - 'Henrietta Charlotte May 23 1823'
the seventh - 'Charles Watkin Neville May 27 1826'
On each panel to the front is a fancy hexagonal domed glass window and beneath each is a curled lock of corresponding hair, tied with gold thread.
Each panel measures 30mm x 40mm, and is modelled in two colour gold with architectural detailing in high relief.
The bracelet weighs 82.9g and is modelled in high carat gold. It's got to be 18 carat
It is 40mm wide with an inner circ of 7.5" and is meant to be worn over clothing - see my pic.
In excellent condition. One piece of glass has a shallow chip and the Thomas who died in infancy, his coil of hair has degraded somewhat but otherwise all good.
