How adorable!
This wonderful carved bog oak dog head. I'm calling him a Spaniel, but he could be many breeds. He has a Cockapoo look about him. That spaniel/poodle look.
 
Such fine Victorian carving, and with tiny paste eyes.  Four claws hold him onto a fine gold base.
