Great looking statement piece this one!
 
A large oval banded agate mounted in a gilded metal mount with a little rope twist detail.
Of course I had to buy it because the bail is a little snakes head!
 
Weighs - 15g
Measures - 38mm x 30mm (not including bail)
Snake bail measures - 15mm long
English circa 1870
 
Good antique condition, some wear to gild here and there see pic in my hand
