Super silver lozenge shaped niello checkerboard patterned coin case. Looks fabulous hung from a silver Albert chain from the same period - which is the end of the 19th century.
For anyone who collects gold coins this case has two sprung sections that hold sovereigns and half sovereigns, but you could put photos in instead!
