I was really thrilled to find this rare paste chatelaine, circa 1780, dramatically set all over with paste stones set in gilded metal.
 
I removed the chatelaine hook from the top so I could clip on an 18 carat gold albert chain (which is not included btw) so that this can be worn as a necklace.
My model was supposed to come today to showcase it for me but she hasn't turned up. It's raining heavily and the sky is very black so it's a terrible day for photographs.
